Among the nationalities visiting or migrating to the Netherlands, many have a different way of living and culture than in the Netherlands. Indians, I think, are the most culturally varied lot. At least among the Knowledge Migrants. Add to that the loneliness and social isolation they suffer from.
Take my case for example. For the first two years, the only place you could have seen me was in a subway(just the route from home to office). I never went outside. Instead I was watching television soaps and movies on youtube. Didn’t even know what a croissant was.
Going abroad was a dream. And when I did achieve it, I was holding myself in solitary.
